The Manta Online Seminar Series is a collection of online seminars by the world's leading IBM i experts. In keeping with Manta's tradition of bringing the training to you, each seminar is an online presentation that you can take at home or at work. The seminars are available worldwide, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All you need is a PC with Internet Explorer, speakers, and a decent Internet connection.
All seminars are delivered using Manta's online training delivery system, MantaNow. As with traditional Manta courses, the seminars let you set a bookmark to return at a later time. Unless otherwise specified, each seminar is 50 to 90 minutes long. You have two days to complete each seminar.
If you have taken a traditional Manta course, you know that we have a uniform length and format for all courses, with objectives, simulations, and Competency Exams all playing important roles. In contrast, we left the format, content, and duration of the presentations in the Seminar Series up to the individual speakers. In some cases, the seminars were developed exclusively for Manta. In other cases, the seminars are based on sessions that the speakers have recently given at national conferences. In all cases, you are getting the most up-to-date information from the leading experts in the field.
Handouts are an optional feature of many Manta seminars. Handouts are delivered as PDF files to the student's PC.
